Summer Scents

Home » recreation » Summer Scents
July 18, 2013 by Mary Hamilton

Summer! There are many sights we associate with summer but what smell always takes you away to a lazy summer day?summer

Is it newly mown grass?

A fresh breeze off the lake?

Rain falling on thirsty ground?

Wood smoke from a campfire?

A rose’s perfume?

Bed linens dried by the summer sun? (Does anyone do that anymore?)

Burgers on the grill?

That odd mix of oil and gas from a boat engine?

Sun tan lotion–the kind that smells like coconut?

Leave a comment and tell me what smells like summer to you.
