Pic of the Month
It’s Bluebonnet season in Texas!
If you’ve never taken a road trip through Texas, this is the best time of year. The wildflowers along the roads are stunning. In some spots, they cover whole fields. So while our neighbors to the north are digging their way out of snow, we’re enjoying a different type of beauty.
Progress
Audiobook: Pendant is currently in production and should be available by the end of May. It’s hard to describe the feeling as I listened to a sample of the first fifteen minutes. Years ago, I wrote a play and felt so humbled when I watched the performance. I’d given the cast a story, a skeleton, in black and white, and they put flesh and clothes on it and brought it to life in Technicolor. That’s the way I felt upon hearing my characters’ voices playing out in the sample. Humbled and so excited! Squee!!
Pendant: I’ve learned that the readers of InterviewsandReviews.com chose Pendant as one of their favorite books for the month of January. If it wins the Book of the Month contest, it will go on to their Book of the Year contest. You can help me out by casting your vote here. Thanks so much!
Current WIP: Progress is slow, but I am making headway on the plot. I’ve written the first two chapters and a couple scenes. When I write, I tend to go back and forth between writing scenes and doing more background work on the plot and characters. So while it is slow, I am making progress!
Don’t forget to vote for Pendant! You can do that here.
